Geographic situation
The VDP.Grosse Lage Langenmorgen is located on the south-eastern slope of the Haardt at 150 to 160 meters. The site owes its special microclimate to the protection of the Haardt, which shields it from precipitation, cold winds and frost. The soils consist of loess loam with a high lime content, the typical red and white red sandstone in the subsoil and loess deposits, which give the soil water retention capacity and nutrients.

Origin of name
The parcel names are comparatively long. “Morgen” refers to the historical area measurement of the same name.
